Information for Candidates

The Democratic Party of Oregon has no more important mission than electing Democrats to office nationally, statewide, and in local communities. To that end, we provide certain resources to eligible candidates to assist their campaigns.

Contact Listing on DPO Web Site
Many voters come to the Democratic Party web site looking for contact information for candidates. We maintain contact information for all campaigns for national, state-wide or state legislative offices on our web sites. For additions or corrections, send email to campaigns@dpo.org.

Getting Volunteers
Finally, candidates should work with their local Democratic county parties in their districts to assemble volunteers for phone banking, canvassing, events, and other campaign activities. You can also coordinate with the Democratic Field Organizers in your area. Send email to field@dpo.org.

 

Access to the Oregon Voter File
In association with the DNC, the Democratic Party of Oregon can offer candidates access to contact information for registered voters in Oregon.  

To qualify for access you must

• be registered Democrat,
• have received authorization from the party organization responsible for your district
• have signed the access agreement
• have paid the required fees.

You may either get an electronic list of voters in your district, or you may get access to VoteBuilder, a complete powerful on-line system to pull lists, record results, and tag voters with interest codes.
