New Website Details Allen Alley's Business Failures
Portland - Allen Alley's business failures and political inexperience have landed him right in the DPO's crosshairs.
The website, www.alanalley.com, focuses on the Republican State Treasurer candidate's business troubles and inexperience managing public funds.
"Allen Alley wants Oregonians to believe that his corporate background qualifies him to be State Treasurer. We would hate to see Oregon's public employees retirement fund take the same path as Alley's company," DPO Chair Meredith Wood Smith said, referring to the stock price of Pixelworks which declined from nearly $50 a share at it's height to around $1.50 today. "Alley wants to blame the market for his company's downturn, but it's important for voters to understand that he is the man responsible for reckless management decisions that led to Pixelworks' decline."
The web domain makes a play on Alley's official campaign website by using the most common misspelling of his first name. The website will be updated throughout the campaign with the most important information on Alley's business background and candidacy.
