Internships

The Democratic Party of Oregon has several internship opportunities now available for students looking for hands-on political experience. With your help, we will elect Barack Obama as President, Jeff Merkley to the U.S. Senate, and increase our majorities in Salem.

These are part time, unpaid internships, but students may be able to receive academic credit or service hours. Work hours are flexible, but expect to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.  The Democratic Party of Oregon operates year-round and interns will be expected to continue serving past the November election.

Enthusiastic interns are needed in several departments including communications, technology, voter outreach and development.  Placements will be made based on availability, area of interest and staff need.  Students from diverse academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
